The Build Process: From 2014 to Now
It all started with the speaker that my friends and I called 'the brick'. It was made from recycled shelf particle board, duct tape, hot glue, and half a can of grey spray paint. At the time, I only had a Dremel and a coping saw. It used a Lepai amp with discontinued Audiobahn speakers, powered by a 12v lead acid battery. It sounded nice from the dense wood but weighed a lot, hence the name 'the brick'.
2 years later, I decided to upgrade it since I needed a speaker that demonstrated my business really well, so I took the brick apart and started designing a new case, while also adding bluetooth with a new Pyle amp. I designed the artwork myself, and thought it would be cool to borrow my school's CNC machine and carve the design into the pre-stained wood.
Now I present 'The Brick v2'
